Well, it's been a long time coming. My band released our first record, Deep Waters, 2 years ago in 2016 and we've been jonesing to get a batch of new songs out into the world. Our second record is in its final stages of mixing and mastering so we hope to release it by either July or August. We don't have a title yet (those can be tricky) but we're pleased with how everything is sounding. As the January snowstorms raged outside, we holed up for eleven days at Guilford Sound in Vermont, forgetting about the daily news of political debauchery, and immersed ourselves into the recording process. I felt lucky to get to work with two people I admire greatly, Dave Sinko as Engineer and Bridget Kearney as Producer. They both brought a depth of knowledge and experience that breathed fresh inspiration into the recording session and the whole thing took on a life of its own. I'm looking forward to ironing out the final details (album art, song sequence, liner notes) and releasing this baby into the sonic universe.
